We had planned a one-week mission to the north of Madagascar for the hospital in Mandritsara. The flight there took 1 hour 45 minutes. We flew six teams to eleven remote villages where, among other things, they provided medical assistance and carried out basic vaccinations. On a return flight to Mandritsara, we were able to take a heavily pregnant woman and her husband to the hospital. This hospital is considered one of the best in northern Madagascar.
The baby was delivered by caesarean section on the same day. We were "in the right place at the right time".
