Hangar Tour

Over summer break, my kids and I passed out invitations to the families with our neighborhood complex for a hangar tour. What a wonderful event!

Every family in our complex came. The mothers and children all loved seeing the helicopters, talking to our staff, and hearing about how Helimission serves the people of Papua. Even now, months later, the neighbors still talk about it. 

The experience reminded me of a tour of a missionary hospital ship I attended with my family as a child. That tour planted a seed which eventually led to a lifelong commitment to missions. How wonderful it would be for this Helimission tour to be the spark that sets another child’s heart on fire for missions!
