The wife of one of our employees in Madagascar reports:
Recently, our Malagasy housekeeper showed me pictures of her friend with dismay. She was so emaciated that she was just skin and bones. I was shocked.
The diagnosis was tuberculosis and malnutrition. Her mother was also affected. I could not ignore this while we have enough food to eat every day. I decided to help. First, I consulted a Malagasy doctor. With just 30 dollars I could pay for the medical examinations and also buy them some food. Their tremendous gratitude really touched my heart. Without this support, they would have starved and died of the disease. I strongly believe that God sometimes puts people on our hearts, so that we can make a difference to their lives and support them.
