HELIMISSION IN THE AMAZON

Helimission will soon be operating a base in Brazil. Here, too, we would like to deliver aid by helicopter.

Imagine a huge, impressive river in the heart of South America. That’s the Amazon River in Brazil. It is not only the longest river in the world, but also the one with the most water! The Amazon could supply an entire city for one day with water in one minute.

The Amazon meanders through the largest rainforest on our planet. This forest is full of life: from bright green parrots to mysterious jaguars and leisurely sloths. And these are just a few of the thousands of species that live there! In the air, you can smell the fresh aroma of plants and flowers while in the background you can hear the animals chirping and calling.

In addition, the Amazon rainforest is home to many indigenous peoples. These are people who have lived there for a very, very long time, long before there were cities and technology. They know the forest like the back of their hand and live in close contact with nature.

The Amazon is truly a special place on our planet. It is full of life, stories and adventures. It shows us vividly how wonderful and diverse our world is.
