Denis used to fly fixed-wing planes. Today this is no longer possible due to his age. He is now investing in people in remote areas so that they can be saved.
On his last visit to the village of Begara, he was accompanied by Alex who is a carpenter. It is amazing to see what he can produce with simple woodworking tools: windows, doors, benches and chairs. His services are particularly in demand after a bush fire destroyed several huts, the school, and the Lutheran church.
Denis encourages and teaches all the interested people. With his uncomplicated manner he inspires people again and again. This time he accompanied his singing with a local guitar and pleased the listeners.
